Our Grand Wedding Package is an inclusive package for 25 people, and includes

  • Bucks Fizz Drinks Reception on arrival
  • Three course Wedding Breakfast with a glass of wine
  • Glass of Sparkling Wine for the toast
  • Evening Reception Room Hire with private bar facilities
  • Evening Finger Buffet

If you would like to invite additional guests the cost for the full package is £35 per person or £11 per person for the evening reception only.

The Venue

The hotel is set in its own grounds, with extensive parking. The terrace and gardens provide the ideal setting for those important wedding photographs. There are several suites from which to choose for your reception, including the spacious Fitzwilliam Suite and the light and airy Allendale Restaurant.

Our chefs have designed a host of menu ideas and choices to suit your wedding, and our high standards of food and service have established us as one of the region’s best-known wedding venues.

Civil and Commitment Ceremonies

We are proud to advise you that the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council has granted us approval as a venue for the solemnisation of marriages, and the following suites are licensed for civil ceremonies:

Fitzwilliam Suite – A large elegant Suite which is air-conditioned and can seat a maximum of 180 guests. Room Hire £500.00.

Wentworth Suite – Adjoining the Fitzwilliam Suite and can seat a maximum of 50 guests. Room Hire £350.00.

Yorkshire Room – A pleasant room, ideal for the smaller ceremony of up to 25 guests. Room Hire £250.00.
